About me

This blog is the place to pour out my creative energy. Although I write about my projects very infrequently, crafts and being creative are an important part of my life. I’ve tried my hand at knitting and embroidery, have recently tried quilting, am a very poor crocheter, and like to think about color combinations and patterns. Pinterest can be very addictive, but I’ve been trying to be very judicious in what pins I add to my collection.

My husband Mike and I met in Chapel Hill, NC, were we were both graduate students. After Mike graduated from his program, fate and the job market took us to the invigoratingly cold but fun vicinity of Boston, MA, were we spent three years enjoying life but reminiscing about our carefree life in North Carolina. As fate would have it, in April of 2012, we moved back south and now live in the Triangle area of North Carolina. While still in Boston, we adopted our adorable pooch Molly who enjoys being back in the South frolicking in the sun and chasing squirrels.

In the summer of 2012 we welcomed to our little family our wonderful baby boy and our lives have changed. We are now continuing our adventure in loving, living. working, and creating in this beautiful part of the South.

This is a really cool idea and a lovely presentation, but we’d sure like to see all of your beautiful face.

    Love,

Thank you guys for the recent card. It was really nice to get it. Did you make the card? It’s really pretty. I would love any tips or ideas you have about recycled wedding ideas. This will definitely be a non-traditional celebration, and we want to keep the costs down, so any neat projects you can pass my way would be most helpful! Thanks again, and we hope to see you guys soon… Love and hugs to you both.
